For over a year now, our family has been inviting our church, after service, to join us for lunch. The goal was to do it every other week, but sometimes it doesn’t happen like that. The motivation to do this came from a book I read called Openness Unhindered written by one of my heroine’s Rosaria Butterfield. I also previously had read The Secret Thoughts of an Unlikely Convert, but it was Openness Unhindered that really prompted me to start opening our home to our church family more and more.

Building community with my neighbors is something I strive for and showing hospitality and love to all is a Christian trait I hope to foster while I am still on this earth.
